Ensembles

Currently we have two ongoing ensembles: the children’s ensemble, The African Drum Beats and the Women’s ensemble, Yamama. Each ensemble meets once a week for an hour to work on traditional African music. Both ensembles have now recorded CD’s of their work and sell them for fundraising geared toward African non-profit groups. Private students find the ensembles a great format to put their practice to good use playing and celebrating the music of West Africa with one another. The one-hour classes are $20. Please contact me to see if space is available in the classes/ensembles. As well new ensembles can be formed. Have some friends that want to play African drums? I gear the ensembles to the ability level within the group including beginners. Call or email me if you questions.
